St Remacle du Pont


I've written many times in this blog that Liege is full of churches. Here's another one, St Remacle of the Bridge, in the Amercoeur quarter. It's one of the very few historic buildings remaining in Amercoeur, as the area was heavily bombarded and almost completely destroyed by the Austrians in 1794.

That's rather different than some European churches...but is certainly interesting. Nice shot.

Such an interesting design and it looks as if the town is built all around it.

It's so pitty that you this wonderful church captured as a contre-jour photo. So I missed the details of the church a little bit.
