Moonless

A close up of Sunday's helicopter but without the moon. If you insist on seeing photos of the moon, you may well find a few on the Skywatch blog.

The moon and the helicopter

Tuesday was the day of the Saint-Torè, the big annual student celebration. A helicopter flew over the city to take photos or to ensure the students' safety, I am not sure which. It stayed hovering above our building for quite a while and it made a very interesting photo subject as it was close to the moon.

Exactly what the title says: the crescent moon puts in an appearance at dusk over the hills of Liège. More Skywatch photos here.

Place Saint Michel

Two photos of buildings in the Place Saint Michel. Nothing special, a Walloon Region governmental building and an exhibition hall. But the bright sun definitely does something for them!

One more construction

I've got one more photo to add to the construction series, so I apologise to all those who were hoping for a change of subject. However, I assure you that this one really is the last construction photo! It's the Sainte Croix church, perpetually enveloped in scaffolding.

Final construction

Last in the current series. Three cranes devoted to the megaconstruction of the Opera House. For less crane-rich sky photos visit the Skywatch blog!

Construction everywhere

There's a lot of building happening in the city centre at the moment. Here's an overview, seen from Mont Saint Martin. There's more under construction photos to come over the next couple of days.

Reflected Gallery

Parts of the Place Saint Lambert reflected on the main entrance of the Galeries Saint Lambert shopping centre. It can look good when it's sunny.
