For a couple of weeks now, the city has been full of flags announcing the grand opening of the Grand Curtius our new super-museum, which unites under one roof archeology, religious art, arms, decorative arts, glass and many temporary exhibitions. The opening day was Saturday but we didn't visit. We will visit next weekend, hoping to avoid the extreme crowds.

Wow...great evening shots. The flags and the sky set each other off perfectly!
I love the row of flags (diminishing in the distance) in the 2nd photo. Look forward to seeing the museum - once the crowds thin out.
