Graffiti

Here's some more graffiti, in the pedestrian passages under the Pont Albert. Only the architects of the 1950s and 60s thought that such tunnels were good ideas.

This looks like it's the work of several artists. It has a busy feel to it. Do you find you move quickly through the tunnel? Well, not when you're photographing it, but at other times?

Most of the time I try to avoid it. Too many used syringes and condoms...

I dislike these tunnels very much, too. We've got similar ones running from the beaches inland...and they are dark and dangerous and filled with debris...and yes, graffiti!

Excellent photo, though, Greg!

Terrific photo, Greg, but I have to admit that's probably one place I would do my best to avoid.

Have a great week!

What were they teaching on architecture degrees at that time? 40 credit courses on 'designing a grim tunnel'.
