Skywatch Friday

Here's my first Skywatch Friday post. A view of the sky over an icy Liège from the Citadel Hill, complete with two aircraft contrails. The Monument du 14ème de Ligne frames it on the left.

Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my SWF post. I find your post great. Love the contrast of the two planes crossing the sky. Beautiful. Thanx for sharing, and welcome to SWF, I read this was your first post ever - do not make it the last one, looking forward to seeing more posts from you. :))

Welcome to SWF. Your sky is really eerie but nice! We are having lots of blue skies here - it's 25 degrees today but will be 35 by Tuesday - nice and hot compared to your weather.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Love your sky with contrails - I'm a fan of contrails myself, tho not for the damage they do to the environment.
You have a really interesting blog - I'll be visiting again.

I love the foggy site you show of Liege.
To answer your question of my SWF, my picture was taken from the worldfamous Neudeflat. It's famous becouse its very ugly. I work in it, and it might be an awfull building but I have the best view of town ;-)

Such a beautiful cityscape with that light fog in the air.
The icing on the cake however is your panorama of Liege above.
I have scrolled through your blog a bit and you have a number of sensitive images of your surroundings.

Greg, this is a wonderfully composed photo -- you've even got a contrail in it. Super sky watch.
