An unexpected sight greeted us in the Cathedral square today. You don't get to see cows in city centres very often.
Its calf was there too, napping happily in the sun.
Not to mention a fake cow painted in the colours of the Belgian flag!
The whole thing was a publicity stunt for a new brand of local fair trade milk.

Fair trade milk sounds like a good idea. Did you buy some?
It looks as if no cows were harmed in this promotion. It must have been fun to see them in the city. Your camera really seems to have enjoyed it.
Mooooo - I like your cow photos! But then, I grew up in Wisconsin, "America's Dairyland."
