While we were on holidays in Greece, there was a terrible accident in Liège. A gas leak caused an explosion in a building right in the city centre, resulting in the collapse of two buildings and the death of 14 people at the last count. Ten days after the event, the authorities have allowed access to some areas near the site. People came to pay their respects, lay flowers or just look at the devastation.

That's terrible! Unbelievable! Bless the victims!
A shocking accident, those poor people who were asleep, awaking to find the building around them collapsing. I watched the BBC clip. Unbelievable.
A terrible accident, Iam always afraid of gas.Best regards.
Oh, no. How terribly sad. I hope the lessons learned is passed around the world to prevent any other similar tragedy. A meaningful post. Thx.
I saw this on Belgian TV, would you believe? I was watching the French TV5 news on satellite, and they had a news programme from the francophone Belgian station. So very sorry to hear of the eventual death toll.
I am so sorry.

I'm sorry to hear it.
We need to
be careful of gas.
