La foire de Liège
A zoom on the Ferris wheel of the Liège Fair. This year the Fair will celebrate its 150th anniversary. Apparently, it's been going on for nearly a 1000 years but 150 years ago it was moved to its present location. Six weeks of wholesome family fun and merry-making will start on this weekend.

If it's been going on for 1000 years I should think there were maybe some times when the fun wasn't so wholesome!
