This is the four fourths waffle, so called because it contains equal weights of egg, flour, sugar and milk. Believe me, it's good.

Continuing yesterday's theme, here's some more photos of the Nocturne des Coteaux de la Citadelle. A crucified Jesus on the Rue Pierreuse,

a coloured fire installation

and a coloured light installation.

La nocturne des Coteaux de la Citadelle

The nocturnal opening of the citadel hillsides is an event taking place on the first Saturday of October. All the private roads and courts, non-residential buildings, country lanes and even some private houses on the hillsides are open through the night and illuminated by thousands of candles. This is the Montagne de Bueren all lit up like a christmas tree.

Several other illumination events and light sculptures could be seen throughout the area, such as these white balloons in the woods

and these projection screens just off the Rue Hors Chateau.

The event culminated with a fireworks display.
