My recent blogosilence was due to our long weekend in Naples. Here's proof: the ruins of Pompeii in the foreground, the guilty party in the background, a tourist contemplates the meaning of life.

Crane and sunset

Finally, spring is on our doorstep and I can start taking pictures of cranes in the sunset again. Here's a couple of fresh ones, they were caught not 5 minutes ago. Notice Venus near the top of the first picture (you'll need to click on it to zoom in).

Guardians of the grey

The clouds came back today, it even snowed for a bit. The Cathedral spire and the Kennedy Tower punctuate the gloom. The good news is that you can see photos of far sunnier skies on the Skywatch blog.

This outspoken piece of graffiti suggests that all those opposed to graffiti are nazis and should die. Why bother to construct arguments, hold discussions or take part in debates when you can just hurl accusations of genocide?
