Training session

Still on holidays in Greece, last week we witnessed a training flight by two Canadair Scooper firefighting aircraft. We knew it was a training session because they kept dumping their load of water in the sea

and then coming round

to scoop water up again.

A fiery one

Early Skywatch Friday this week, featuring a fire and brimstone sunset hanging over Liège. And that's it for me, I'm off on holidays for a month. I need it! I will try to post some photos from the holidays but, if I don't, see you back here in September!

Yes but no

The building in the centre of the photo is the Hotel Si Mais Non in Outremeuse. Its name literally means Yes But No, but it's a wordplay on Georges Simenon, Liege's, most famous author, creator of the character of Police Commissioner Maigret.
