Well that's it, winter is over. All of the snow has melted, even in Sart Tilman. Now we can look forward to 11 months of rain until next winter, broken up by some short and rare spells of sunshine.
The snow started to melt but the weather forecast predicts more snowfall for tomorrow morning. I believe it is fitting that I should post yet another photograph of Liège in the snow. This one features the St Croix church quite prominently, I daresay (I've been watching Downton Abbey).
No snow today but it's bitterly cold and the snow has stayed on the rooftops and pavements. That does not make a difference to the recently renovated opera, it's white anyway.
The former church of St Andrew looks quite atmospheric though.
