Le coucher des Chiroux


The building of the central library of the province of Liège (Les Chiroux) does not see the setting sun, unless it is reflected off another building on the other side of the river.

    All sorts of corny phrases spring to mind about 'crucible of learning', but apart from that these are striking shots.

    That is so interesting - reflections bouncing off to give light where there is none. I think there might be a "lesson" in that.
