It seems that people don't like photos of insects... Oh well, now I know. Here's the moon posing in the middle of a purple Skywatch! You can drool at many more Skywatch Friday photos here.
Very dramatic. Draws one in for a closer look, but then you find that's not possible and you just have to accept that moon is going to be what it is...

This is a rather lovely purple, which I'm sure the moon has chosen to offset its beauty.
